Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AZ Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers.

Duties

Operate tractor-trailer units in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or manual handling techniques. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details and cargo information. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport. Ensure proper handling of refrigerated cargo to maintain product integrity during transit. Assist in the loading and unloading process for various types of freight, including dump trucks and roll-off trucks.

Requirements

Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with different types of trailers. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight. Strong knowledge of route driving principles and logistics operations. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety practices on the road.
