Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across designated routes. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to various locations according to schedule Load and unload cargo using forklift or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record Experience in freight transportation and commercial driving operations Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to load, unload, and handle freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary
