Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE. ONLY US DRIVERS

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as required. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE. ONLY US DRIVERS Experience in freight transportation is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive repair principles is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must have a clean driving record and pass background checks as required by company policies.
