Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Duties

Operate and drive trucks to transport goods from

Brampton to California specifically

Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety. Assist in the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed for loading/unloading tasks. Perform basic automotive repairs when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Experience with freight handling and logistics operations. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in transportation.
