We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Duties

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Ensure that all freight is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid AZ (Commercial Driver's License). Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and best practices. Basic automotive repair skills to perform minor repairs on the vehicle as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
