About the Department
Franklin Templeton's Retail Sales team drives client success by delivering tailored investment solutions across asset management, wealth management, and fintech. The team collaborates globally, combining diverse expertise with a flexible, inclusive culture. How You Will Add ValueCore ResponsibilitiesYou will partner with a Vice President Regional Sales, External Wholesaler to understand advisor needs.
You will maintain contact via calls, meetings (in-person and virtual), presentations, and email communications.
You will identify and communicate product opportunities.
You will coordinate with internal sales support.
You will collaborate with the Vice President Regional Sales and Sales Coordinators to ensure comprehensive advisor coverage, execute territory plans, and maintain accurate advisor data.
You will participate in team meetings and align strategies.
Strategic ResponsibilitiesYou will support 700 advisory relationships in Southwest Ontario.
You will elaborate with the Vice President Regional Sales a territory plan to achieve the sales and activity targets assigned to your territory.
What Will Help You To Be Successful in This RoleExperience, Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree required; MBA, CIMA, or CFA preferred.
5-8 years in financial services required in either sales or business development.
Canadian Securities Course or designations (CFP, CLU, FCSI, CIM, CFA) are assets.
Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of financial markets and investment processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools such as Morningstar and Bloomberg.
Comfortable with CRMs, video conferencing, and social media.
Soft SkillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to apply consultative selling strategies effectively.
Self-motivated and collaborative.
