Overview:
The AVP, Digital Product, Performance & Experience is responsible for the ownership, implementation, and optimization of both IG and Mackenzie Investments' digital platforms and digital marketing capabilities in support of business, client, and marketing objectives. As a core member of the Digital and Marketing team, this role drives data-driven decision-making, provides strategic guidance, and oversees solutions to solve marketing business challenges. The role is key to aligning marketing efforts with business goals, optimizing strategies, and shaping the overall success of our companies.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead Digital Strategy: Define and evolve the vision and roadmap for IG and Mackenzie Investments' digital platforms, focusing on innovation and business impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to enhance digital experiences and integrate new capabilities.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor digital professionals, supporting both strategic initiatives and daily operations.
  • Modern Marketing Enablement: Promote advanced digital marketing practices like personalization, media optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Platform Ownership: Oversee the development and enhancement of core digital platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and superior user experiences.
  • Performance Marketing Oversight: Lead paid media campaigns in collaboration with brand teams and agencies.
  • Omni-Channel Engagement: Advance email marketing and digital engagement platforms, enabling personalization, A/B testing, and audience management.
  • Analytics & Insights: Deliver actionable digital insights to stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven strategy.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science or a related field (Advanced degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience leading digital marketing teams with a focus on channel and campaign operations, media and advertising and marketing technology implementation and user experience and design
  • A range of experience across consulting, media/ad agency and in house client marketing teams is valued
  • Working in a digital COE / matrix organization with digital transformation experience
  • Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe and Salesforce Marketing Technology ecosystems and other digital platforms preferred.
  • Deep understanding of marketing metrics, attribution models, and campaign performance measurement, with a strategic mindset to provide actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team of digital marketers, promote a collaborative culture, and drive results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and insights to executive stakeholders
