Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audio-visual systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment.

We are based out of Fenwick and serve the Niagara and into the GTA. We specialize in full Control4 Smart home solutions. Other aspects of our work include Networking, Security, Audio/Video, Home theatres, and Automated shades.

We are looking for an individual to join our company that is highly motivated, a fast learner, and has a passion for technology.

Experience would be a major asset for us right now. Although not completely necessary, we would prefer someone with a background in Control systems and all aspects of home technology. For the right person with the necessary experience, a company vehicle would be provided.

Preference will be given to the most qualified individual.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and Control 4 Automation systems. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual systems. Prewire houses with low voltage wiring for all aspects relating to Smart Home Automation. Maintain a positive and professional work ethic. Install and wire Audio/ Video equipment. Install and configure security equipment.

Requirements

Proficiency with hand tools and experience in mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of Control 4 Automation systems and low voltage installations is preferred. Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams effectively. Previous experience in an audio visual technician role or similar environment is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Pay: $19.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
