Position Overview

We're seeking a

motivated AV Technician (Lead or Junior Level)

to join our team.
You'll work on everything from wiring and equipment setup and commissioning -- collaborating with our

designers, project managers, and service teams

to deliver exceptional results.

For experienced candidates, this is an opportunity to

Key Responsibilities

System Installation:

Install and connect AV, network, lighting, shading, and automation components with precision and care.

Project Execution:

Support or lead projects from prewire to final setup, ensuring systems are delivered on time and to ISV standards.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve system issues -- or learn the process with hands-on mentorship.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other technicians and departments to maintain clear communication and smooth project flow.

Client Support:

Provide on-site guidance, demonstrations, and client system orientation.

Documentation:

Keep detailed notes, photos, and progress updates to support future service and standardization.

Qualifications

For Experienced Technicians:

3-5+ years in AV or home automation installation (Crestron, Lutron, networking, etc.) Experience building racks, terminating cables, and reading technical drawings Ability to lead a small team and mentor junior staff

For Entry-Level or Intermediate Technicians:

1-2 years of related experience (low voltage, electrical, IT, or construction background preferred) Comfortable with hand tools, wiring, and technology setup Eager to learn and grow in the home automation field

For All Candidates:

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Professional communication and client-facing skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CEDIA, CTS, or similar certifications are an asset (but not required)
