AV Maintenance Assistant

What You Bring to the Table



Eager to learn and work with AV technologies, including projection, lighting, audio, and control systems. Ability to effectively problem solve and understand signal flow. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, including evenings and weekends. Able to follow detailed instructions and maintain strict safety standards. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling. Physically capable of lifting and safely moving AV equipment. Detail-oriented and proactive, willing to take initiative on tasks. Works well in a team environment and communicates clearly with supervisors.

Your Days Will Look Like



Assist the AV Team in running Vallea Lumina's projection, lighting, audio, control, and networking systems. Learn to operate AV control system through hands-on training and shadowing. Support pre-show, in-show, and post-show equipment checks under guidance. Help with basic troubleshooting and identification of issues. Assist with seasonal installation, calibration, and de-installation of AV equipment. Perform simple maintenance tasks such as cleaning lenses, organizing cables, and checking connections. Follow all safety procedures when working with AV equipment. Maintain good communication with the AV team and provide clear updates during shift handovers. Cover operational shifts in the absence of AV team.
