Overview


We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role involves coordinating service appointments, providing accurate estimates, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Candidates with automotive diagnostics knowledge, and strong sales skills will thrive in this position. The Service Advisor plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction while promoting our comprehensive range of automotive services.

Responsibilities



Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport. Assess customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues using service writing systems. Prepare detailed auto estimates for repairs including oil changes, brake repair, transmission work, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignment, and auto body repair. Recommend additional services such as vehicle maintenance and upsell relevant products or repairs to meet customer needs. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and communicate updates to customers. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business. Stay informed about the latest automotive repair techniques and dealership promotions.

Qualifications



Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services and parts. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, alignment, suspension, engines, and automobile sales is advantageous. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and professionally.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,299.80-$74,293.06 per year
