Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring that all service needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to provide exceptional experiences for our clients while promoting our automotive repair services.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs. Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to provide accurate information about automotive repairs and maintenance. Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process. Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Experience

A background in mechanics or automotive repair is advantageous for understanding technical aspects of services offered. Strong customer service skills with a proven track record in sales and upselling techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential for managing transactions accurately. Pay: $16.16-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
