Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic dealership team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Previous dealership experience, mechanic background, or automotive repair knowledge are highly valued to ensure accurate assessments and effective upselling of services. The Service Advisor will coordinate repairs, provide estimates, and ensure a seamless experience from check-in to vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment. Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues. Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair needs and timelines. Prepare detailed service estimates, explaining necessary repairs and recommended services. Upsell additional maintenance or repair services based on customer needs and vehicle requirements. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage payment processing efficiently. Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and ensure satisfaction upon completion of service. Maintain organized records of service orders, customer interactions, and sales activities. Assist in promoting dealership services and products to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

Prior advisor experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant automotive or mechanic experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand and accurately explain vehicle repairs is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
