Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately relay vehicle issues to technicians
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance
- Create detailed repair orders and communicate them to the technicians
- Estimate costs for repairs and obtain customer approval
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
-Answer phones and emails, Book appointments, provide quotes
-Order parts and tires from various distributors (Napa prolink, Worldpac speed dial, Auto Value my place for parts Etc)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for record keeping
Note: Experience or knowledge in the following areas is a plus: brake repair, shocks struts, tire service, oil change, transmission servicing.
