We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs and ensuring a seamless experience. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will be essential in building relationships with clients and enhancing their satisfaction.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, ensuring they understand the work being performed. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to recommend appropriate services based on vehicle condition and customer concerns. Process service orders, including cash handling and payment transactions accurately. Upsell additional services and products that enhance vehicle performance or safety. Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns. Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to dealership policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred. Background as a mechanic or strong mechanical knowledge is highly desirable. Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Sales experience, particularly in upselling automotive services, is a plus. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
