We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented individual for the position of Service Advisor at our flagship Nissan Dealership in Mount Pearl. The Service Advisor is the dealership's front-line customer relations and Service representative.
As the Service Advisor, you report to the Front-End Service Manager and will assist in all areas including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to enhance customer understanding.
Prepare accurate estimates for services and repairs while effectively upselling additional products or services that may benefit the customer.
Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on vehicle status and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial exchanges.
Foster strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and enhance overall satisfaction.
Stay informed about dealership promotions, new products, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dealership setting is highly preferred.
A background in mechanics or automotive repair is advantageous, providing a solid foundation for understanding customer needs.
Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Sales experience is beneficial, particularly in upselling automotive services or products.
Proficient cash handling skills and attention to detail in financial transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
