We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and automotive repair, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide them with the best possible service experience. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships and understanding their vehicle needs
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers
- Listen to and document customer concerns regarding their vehicles
- Communicate with technicians to gather diagnostic results and repair recommendations
- Prepare and present clear, accurate estimates for services and repairs
- Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles throughout the day
- Schedule appointments and manage daily shop workflow
- Handle invoices, payments, and follow-up communication
- Recommend preventative maintenance and educate customers about their vehicle's needs
- Maintain accurate service records and shop documentation
What we are looking for:
- Understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm in a busy environment
- Comfortable using shop management software and general computer skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
