Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will help ensure a positive experience for our clients while effectively communicating their needs to the service team.

Duties

Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs with professionalism and courtesy. Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and maintenance options to customers. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to offer accurate recommendations based on customer concerns and vehicle diagnostics. Facilitate communication between customers and technicians to ensure clarity regarding repairs and services needed. Manage service appointments, ensuring timely follow-ups and efficient scheduling. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments for services rendered. Promote additional services through upselling techniques while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring all customer interactions are handled in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Previous automotive experience is preferred but not mandatory. Mechanic experience or strong mechanical knowledge is highly desirable. Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Sales experience, particularly in an automotive context, is a plus. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is essential. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly to customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
