Job Summary

As an Automotive Parts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing procurement processes, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics and supply chain management will be essential as you lead a dynamic team to deliver exceptional service to our customers and support the overall success of our dealership.

What you'll do

Manage the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory control and logistics. Oversee procurement management, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best pricing and quality. Implement effective demand planning strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for automotive repairs and maintenance. Train and mentor team members on best practices in customer service, order management systems, and automotive parts knowledge. Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations, shipping & receiving processes, and equipment repair protocols. Stay updated on industry trends, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards, and advancements in automotive technology.
