Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of painting techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with automotive or dealership painting is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand and power tools. The Painter will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and protective qualities of our projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities



Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure proper paint adhesion Apply primer, paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and textures Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all painting activities Inspect finished work for quality control and make necessary touch-ups or corrections Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper storage of tools and materials Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards Assist with heavy lifting of equipment or materials as needed during project setup or cleanup

Experience



Dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle or machinery maintenance is a plus Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in painting applications Prior experience working with automotive paints or coatings preferred Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems can be advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various stages of projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.40-$30.99 per hour
