Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing both manual and power tools to achieve professional results. Experience in dealership settings, automotive repair, or mechanical work is highly valued, along with a strong understanding of safety protocols and attention to detail.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion Apply primer, paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Use hand tools and power tools to complete painting tasks efficiently and accurately Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for large projects Conduct touch-ups and ensure consistent quality across all painted surfaces Maintain a clean work area and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety standards Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations Assist with minor repairs or automotive painting tasks if required

Qualifications

Previous experience in dealership painting or automotive repair is preferred
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are advantageous

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and working with chemicals Experience working with automotive or industrial coatings is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Prior mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
