The Automation Technician will be responsible for supporting our Operations team by developing automated machining processes. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone reliable who will become an agent of change and growth at Harmonic. Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain automated systems and equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and actuators.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automated systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of automated systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement improvements to automated systems and equipment.
  • Provide training and support to production teams on the proper use and maintenance of automated systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Automation Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and equipment.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and actuators.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
