Job Description
Thompson Construction Group is seeking an AutoCAD Civil 3D Drafter to support our Fort McMurray operations area.
Responsibilities:
Develop construction drawings and field layout designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Process survey data and compile surfaces using point groups. Generate cut and fill maps for volume takeoffs. Produce accurate as-built drawings for project closeout.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong knowledge of Civil 3D components, including:
- Points, Surfaces, Alignments, and Profiles;
- Grading, Feature Lines, Corridors;
- 3D modeling and earthwork volume calculations.
Experience in construction or municipal project drafting. Strong team collaboration and communication skills. Valid Class 5 driver's license. CSTS/OSSA or CSO Certification. Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
