Position Description

Responsibilities
Under the authority of a Teacher, this position acts as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide curriculum support and instruction in the Career Pathways Auto Body Program for students. Career Pathways strives to provide students with further education and employability skills.
This position is accountable for:
• Instructing within the Auto Body Program;
• Contributing towards the effective provision of automotive services in a professional and customer service oriented manner; and
• Serving as an effective role model to students.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Post-secondary Journeyman Certification as an Auto Body Technician which includes four years of apprenticeship as an Auto Body Refinisher and Auto Body Repairer.
• An additional four years of current auto body experience and supervision and/or instruction is required.
• Experience with the administrative and managerial components of running an auto body business is an asset.
• Must possess current certification in First Aid and CPR.
