We are passionate about continuous improvement and operate with high-integrity, motivated by our desire to do the right thing for our clients.As an Automobile Physical Damage Adjuster, you will investigate and facilitate reported claims against the policyholder coverages in accordance with the Company and Regulatory guidelines. The majority of this role involves interacting with policyholders and service providers to deliver the claims service through the adjudication of moderately complex auto physical damage claims.How you will create impact:Obtaining details of the loss through investigation over the telephone and/or independent adjuster..Adjusting automobile physical damage claims in multiple provinces.Establishing reserves on all claims in accordance with the reserve guideline.Maintaining detailed and accurate claim file documentation.Answering the phone in a timely manner for new claims and inquiry calls.Interpreting coverage and applying it to each loss under home and auto, as assigned.Issuing required payments as determined by the facts of the loss and applicable coverage.Adhering to customer satisfaction standards to contribute to increased customer retention and reduction of severity in all areas of claims.How you will succeed:You adapt to change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.You\xe2\x80\x99re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers.To join our team:You have/or are working towards the CIP Designation.You have 2 years claims handling experience or 3 years of insurance/financial professional experience.You have general industry knowledge on current issues and trends in handling automobile physical damage losses, client service, time management and auto repairs.You are proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and familiar with claims database systems.What\'s in it for you?Training and development opportunities to grow your career.Paid time off to support your personal and family needs.A holistic approach to your well-being, with a supportive workplace culture.Paid volunteer days to give back to your community.A comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive salary, pension and benefits.
