Position: Auto Body Technician

Position Type: Full time

Location: Edmonton, AB

Work Schedule: 5 days a week on a two week rotation

Hours of work: Early shift, 7:00 am- 3:30 pm and Late shift, 9:30 am- 6:00 pm

A Typical Day for the Body Shop Technician:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair body damages to fiberglass and suspension components on OEM class 6,7,8 vehicles, trailers, and RVs
• Replace damaged structures, body parts, interior and exterior finishes
• Make warranty decisions as necessary
• Ensure professional quality detail and craftsmanship
• Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for the department

What You Bring:

• Take pride in your work and craftsmanship
• Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
• Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal)
• RV experience an asset
• Light mechanical and suspension experience an asset
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
• Follow safety procedures, provincial/federal legislation, and company policies
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift
• Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided)
• Class 5 driver\'s license
