Job Description

Specific Accountabilities: \xc2\xb7 Remove badly damaged sections of vehicles (for example, trunk lid, roof, rear body panels) and weld in new sections \xc2\xb7 Remove minor damage in body panels, fenders, skirting and sheet metal trim, and weld torn metal \xc2\xb7 Repair or replace interior and exterior components such as instrument panels, seat frame assemblies, carpets and floorboard insulation, trim panels and moldings. \xc2\xb7 Inspect vehicles for dimensional accuracy. \xc2\xb7 Perform all assigned repairs which are safe and correct to reflect the philosophy of the company \xc2\xb7 Advise the management team immediately on any vehicle that has deficiencies or delays that will impact the planned delivery of a vehicle. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a safe and clean environment in which to work that reflects the working conditions of the Company. Designations/Training/Experience Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Auto Body Technician journeyman/journeywoman ticket \xc2\xb7 I-CAR certifications and training \xc2\xb7 Aluminum training/experience Specific Skill sets: \xc2\xb7 Manual dexterity and detail oriented \xc2\xb7 Excellent oral and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Self-motivated with a strong work ethic \xc2\xb7 Strong customer service skills \xc2\xb7 Works well under pressure \xc2\xb7 Team player Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift, handle and move items up to 50kg \xc2\xb7 Working in an auto body shop environment (noise, dirt, fumes, hazards) \xc2\xb7 Repetitive and physically demanding work \xe2\x80\x93 stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, squatting, pulling and work in awkward positions Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: From $25.00 per hour Benefits:
