The Night Public Areas Attendant is the ultimate behind-the-scenes magician. You'll be the eyes and ears of the hotel during its quietist hours while staying in close communication with the Guest Services Night Auditor. Night Public Areas Attendants are in charge of basic security of hotel premises, cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas and restrooms; assisting guests as the need arises; all while supporting safety standards and policies. RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic on-site security of hotel premises, contacting Night Auditor radio throughout shift. Vacuuming/sweeping/mopping of the hotel lobby, stairs, dining room, kitchen, and bar/lounge. Dusting & polishing surfaces, banisters, windows, etc. Deep cleaning of public restrooms Performing janitorial duties of the main lodge and all public area spaces while using chemicals safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Cleaning and stocking all restrooms, sweeping, and mopping floors. Delivering amenities and linens to guests and housekeeping closets. Monitor and clean exterior locations of all trash and litter. Communicate with supervisors and other team members for service or technical updates, requests, or concerns. Maintain organization for housekeeping storage areas, ensuring they are clean of clutter and free from cross-contamination. Complete regular projects and deep cleaning. Interact and communicate with guests, providing property-specific and local information, answering questions, and communicating concerns to the supervisor, creating memorable moments for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be comfortable with overnight shifts. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in Canada.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Must be able to lift 50 lbs/23 kgs. Heavy lifting is required. Ability to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and supervise and manage staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
