Please see below to learn more about this great summer opportunity.As ATBs next Facilities & Safety Student, we're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Facilities & Safety team for the summer. In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our workplace by:Accountabilities

  • Supporting Facilities and Safety Projects: You'll assist the team with various projects related to facilities management and safety, including:
  • Reviewing project and FM lists for duplicates or items to be updated in the system.
  • Helping update element data guided by the Maintenance team.
  • Building out an inventory management tool and collecting real time inventory data.
  • Contributing to the development and revision of emergency response plans.
  • Documenting and maintaining security processes.
  • General Administrative Support: You'll provide general administrative support to the Facilities & Safety team, including:
  • Data entry and analysis.
  • Preparing reports
  • Assisting with scheduling and coordination.
  • People Places & Spaces on site team coverage
  • Other administrative tasks as required.
Skills, experience & requirementsRequirements for ATB 101:
  • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Emergency Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite with a strong aptitude for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • A passion for safety and a commitment to contributing to a positive workplace environment.
