Please see below to learn more about this great summer opportunity.ATBs Culture, Communications & Marketing Student: Success in this role requires you to be client-centric with a strong attention to detail as you support the creation and successful ATB execution of project plans for multiple projects. You are passionate about branding and taking that brand out into the community. This role includes tasks such as supporting the development and execution of brand campaign work, managing the inventory of the internal merchandise store, staffing various event experiences, ticket coordination and distribution and overall support for the larger team.Accountabilities

  • Support on the development and launch of ATBs external campaigns
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of the internal merchandise store
  • Contribute to sponsorships and events with the aim to deliver WOW experiences for clients, prospects and the community while connecting it back to the brand promise
  • Support the project leads at event activations which may include attending and helping with specific promotions onsite as required
  • Coordinate attendees and their experience as determined by the sponsorship or event objective and target market
  • Assist in the development of internal focused programs and initiatives that showcase our culture externally
Skills, experience & requirements
  • Creative, organized, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team

  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in high-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong listening skills
  • Understanding clients' needs and objectives and translating those into a marketing and/or creative brief
  • Liaising with key stakeholders through the communications process to finalize a concept before execution
  • Ability for both strategic planning and hands-on support at events. We are looking for someone who can both think big and also make it happen
  • Have a strong sense of personal accountability. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work to ensure that deliverables are of strong quality
  • Managing administrative and documentation/wrap-up work and ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Occasionally evening and weekend work will be required depending on external event schedules
What does a successful candidate look like?
  • Be passionate and motivated about pursuing a career in Marketing and Communications.
  • Enrolment in a post-secondary college or university program with a specialization in marketing, communications, or design/writing.
  • Previous marketing, communications and/or project and event management experience would be an asset
  • You are client-obsessed and know how to deliver WOW to your customers and your teammates.
  • Ability to source, analyze, digest and translate employee/client needs and behaviours into meaningful insights to influence a strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to stand up, speak out, and identify opportunities for change.
