Location of work

The position will be working remotely with the anticipation of travel for team and client meetings. Currently, our employees are working remotely and located within the Eastern Time Zone. To work in synergy, it is preferred that our applicants are working within the same Eastern Time Zone to accommodate team and client meetings.

Overview

We seek a highly organized and collaborative scientist to coordinate preclinical studies and support pre-clinical drug discovery activities across multiple projects in varying stages of development. Reporting to the Senior Scientist of Preclinical Sciences, this individual will support and manage studies occurring at external vendors including contract research organizations and sponsored research at academic research centers. The individual will also contribute to preclinical study design and will be expected to collaborate closely with a diverse interdisciplinary drug development team to move programs forward into clinical development. We seek candidates who have exceptional organization and problem-solving skills and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Track and provide updates on the status of multiple ongoing preclinical studies staged across a variety of vendors and partnerships.
  • Communicate project updates such as data readouts, timeline alterations, and unexpected protocol changes to management and appropriate teams.
  • Work effectively with interdisciplinary project and logistics teams to ensure experimental materials arrive at the correct site and in a timely manner.
  • Leverage scientific expertise to participate in preclinical study design.
Requirements
  • MSc with 2-3 years of relevant experience in oncology, industry experience preferred
  • Experience with experimental therapeutics; radioligand therapeutics preferred
  • Experience interacting with vendors and external collaborators
  • Prior experience tracking and managing multiple projects for preclinical and/or translational studies
  • Familiarity with logistics, including time-sensitive shipments and basic customs practices is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
