Our Banking client in Toronto, Ontario is looking to hire an Associate Producer for a 12-months contract role with possibility for extension.

What you will be doing\xe2\x80\xa6

• Morning standup outlining work for the day
• Production work throughout the day
• Regular discussions throughout the day on Slack
• Team meetings on occasion.
• Publish stories with a range of assets on time and with required approvals, plus make suggestions for how content is positioned and where it is featured.
• Ensure all compliance and marketing approvals are obtained and documented.
• Recommend and support prioritization of site enhancements. Perform digital reviews and tests for enhancements, making recommendations on the digital content management system efficiency and workflow.
• Manage French translation process along with French Editor.
• Set up articles in the team\'s content management systems and send articles for publishing.
• Work with the Content Team to create eye-catching, client facing call outs and images. Identify what\'s most interesting about each story and select compelling photos to accompany stories. 6) Re-size images, enhance video formats, infographics, and pdfs.
• Ensure that each article is optimized for success. Contribute ideas daily and brainstorm with the Content, Marketing and Communications Teams.
• Conduct an ongoing investment content competitive review working with the Content team.
• Collaborate with the Managing Editor to create final placement and Editorial Approval of all articles and article mentions. Pay close attention to detail while setting up articles for publishing.
• Create efficient tracking, checklists and filing systems. Set up processes such as tagging and storing content.

What you will need to succeed\xe2\x80\xa6

Must Have Skills:

• 2 years of exp with production, copy paste, copy/ content writing.
• Detail oriented, demonstrate visual literacy, experience working with photos, organized, good communication skills.
• Background in media, journalism, communication, or social media
• CMS-WordPress, Adobe, photoshop

Nice to have skills:

• Basic French is Nice to have.
• Video editing exp is nice to have.
