We will ensure that you are provided with the necessary support to enable you to perform at your best.CBC is currently seeking two Associate Producers, Audio, to work on the editorial team for CBC Books and its portfolio of projects.CBC Books connects Canadians with books, encouraging a shared love of reading and writing through CBCBooks.ca, Canada Reads, the CBC Literary Prizes and audio programming.Reporting to the Senior Producer, the Associate Producers will work on CBC Books\xe2\x80\x99 weekly radio programs, participating in the creation of all the show\xe2\x80\x99s elements, from conception to delivery. You will conceive, pitch, write scripts and edit interviews and features. You will also be responsible for administrative aspects of your assigned program: booking guests, lines and studios, ordering books and doing research. You will mix the show each week and deliver it on all platforms: CBC Radio, CBC Listen and various podcast platforms. You may create digital features based on audio programming and will work with the social and digital producers to deliver CBC Books content across a variety of platforms.You have a keen sense of what works as audio storytelling. You have an audience-first mindset and are willing to adapt and try new things to reach new audiences. Experience with Dalet is an assetA love of books and reading.
