You love to share your book recommendations with others and participate in communities such as BookTok.Working as part of the CBC Books team, the Producer will be responsible for producing and packaging timely, engaging and shareable social posts and videos connected to the programming on CBC Books. You will be responsible for conceiving, pitching and creating original social media content that expands the reach of CBC Books. Vertical video will be a key component of this job.You will manage CBC Books\xe2\x80\x99 social media channels and communities. You will manage the editorial calendar for social media, under the guidance of the Senior Producer, so it aligns with CBC Books\xe2\x80\x99 other platforms and priorities. You are mindful of ensuring that the content on our channels reflects and appeals to many different kinds of readers and the communities they represent.You are a talented storyteller with a track record of making dynamic and engaging social media content on a variety of platforms, including vertical video, photos, live coverage and graphics. You are comfortable with a variety of social media platforms and with discovering and learning about new platforms as they emerge and adapting as social media trends change.CBC Books is a multi-platform, collaborative environment, one where producers are encouraged to follow their curiosity and learn on the job.
