Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Personal Injury Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and a passion for advocating for clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex legal issues while providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in personal injury cases, including but not limited to automobile accidents and slip and fall incidents in Ontario and Alberta. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Prepare for trial by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing case theories. Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications. Provide clients with regular updates on their cases and respond promptly to inquiries.

Skills

Proficiency in using legal research tools such as LexisNexis to gather relevant case law and statutes. Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients during settlement discussions. Excellent research abilities to analyze complex legal issues and develop sound strategies. Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents. Proficient in legal drafting techniques to ensure compliance with court requirements and procedural rules. Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
