Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a highly respected national law firm in their search for a Commercial Real Estate Associate Lawyer to join their Winnipeg office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a collaborative, high-performing legal team with a growing presence in Manitoba. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate and secured lending transactions, working alongside skilled professionals who provide strategic counsel to clients across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute complex commercial real estate and secured lending transactions, including both real estate and non-real estate-based matters.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing of commercial properties.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of real estate and financing documents.
• Collaborate with developers, financial institutions, investors, and corporate clients to deliver practical, solutions-oriented legal advice.
• Work closely with internal practice groups to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Contribute to client development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of post-call experience in commercial real estate or secured lending law.
• Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Manitoba (or eligible for admission).
• Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate (not residential) and financing transactions.
• Strong professional and academic credentials with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and maintaining a positive firm culture.
