Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law, including divorce, child custody, and adoption cases. The Family Lawyer will work closely with clients to provide legal guidance and representation throughout their cases.
Qualifications:
Member in good standing with the LSO Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle Attention to detail Ability to work unsupervised Ability to make sound legal decisions and follow through Ability to add value to the legal team Drafting court pleadings experience Confidently advocate for our clients in and outside of the courtroom Understanding in Ontario civil procedure rules Knowledgeable in using Leap, Microsoft Office software, Divorcemate, Excellent oral and written communication skills Entrepreneurial skills and experience is an asset
