  • Assist in managing day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, security, and vendor management, to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing office operations policies and procedures that meet staff and visitor needs while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Issue and cancel building access cards, prepare access card usage reports, and promote compliance with access card requirements.
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches following established protocols.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service by responding to inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and quality service delivery, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in and ensure ongoing compliance with the OHSA related to Health & Safety inspections and reporting.
  • Support the development and/or delivery of Health & Safety training for all employees including, first aid & CPR, evacuation procedures, and other topics as necessary.
Security:
  • Issue and cancel building access cards in accordance with policy
  • Prepare reports related to access card usage to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
  • Promote and enforce occupant compliance with the requirement to wear access cards.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches, following established protocols.
Internal Customer Service:
  • Responds to client inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensures timely and quality service delivery to clients.
  • Follows up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support customer understanding of processes by participating in tours, orientations, and development/delivery of training materials.
  • Support client meetings
  • Troubleshoot and provide assistance with workplace technology
Mail Management:
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Perform mail fulfillment tasks, including sorting, and posting.
  • Maintain copier rooms and replenish copy paper stock.
  • Maintain the shipping and receiving area.

  • Maintain office supplies (inventory)
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, following company policies and safety regulations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and prioritize customer service.
  • Act in accordance with McKesson I2CARE principles.
  • Collaborate with team members from various departments to achieve departmental goals and resolve internal and external customer issues.
  • Perform all other duties as required.
Section C \xe2\x80\x93 Position RequirementsCritical Skills/Business Experience
  • College level education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in facilities, project management, real estate, or property management.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple requests and be responsive to staff/vendor/contractor requests and service issues.
  • Responsible for follow-up on actions based on various team projects/tasks.
  • Recognize and act on opportunities, think "outside the box," and bring creative, nonstandard, and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to perform and manage projects using independent judgment and personal initiative.
  • Excellent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, excel, word, and PowerPoint.
