Position Summary
We are looking for a Associate Content Producer based at our North York office reporting into the Leader, Media & Comms but will be managed day-to-day by the Nestl\xc3\xa9 Content Studio Producer. This 1-year contract role is part of the Nestl\xc3\xa9 Content Studio, accountable for producing high quality digital/social content, contributing to the delivery of 40-60 campaigns across 6 BUs and 12 brands. This role will augment the creative production capabilities of the Nestle Content Studio through videography & photography expertise, creative ideation, and project management.

A day in the life of an Associate Content Producer:
Create engaging film and photography content for use in paid media and organic social channels:

  • Conceptualize and create photography and short form videos for social media/digital advertising, and longer form videos for brand storytelling and recipe/product focused content
  • Strong knowledge of social media content best practices and engagement
  • Developing creative concepts and treatments
  • Leading video & photography production in studio, on-set, or on-location environments
  • Video and image editing
  • Working with talent, food styling, sourcing props
  • Creating stop motion, cinemographs, and gifs
  • Image selection from internal and stock library
  • Support any additional production requests from social activation team
Manage successful execution of creative concepts:
  • Understand the nuances of contemporary filmmaking and photography and staying at the forefront of industry trends and techniques.
  • Own the end-to-end production process including pre-production planning, content capture in the field, editing/grading and asset delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the communications and marketing teams to integrate feedback and gain approvals.
  • Develop and adhere to workback schedules to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and projects at a time.
  • Aim to find cost efficiencies while maintaining high quality output.
Equipment & Asset Management:
  • Management of photo/video equipment as well as backup and archiving systems.
  • Arranging equipment rentals, expert operation of production equipment, setting up and tearing down on production days.
  • Stay up to date on new equipment, tech, software, etc.
  • Organizing and maintaining the Content Studio team\'s photo library to allow seamless collaboration across all departments.
What will make you successful?
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a photographer and videographer in a professional and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • High energy, flexible, can work independently or within a team environment.
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills, able to meet tight deadlines when needed.
  • Strong creative skills demonstrated through concept ideation (scripting/storyboarding/shot lists) and production execution.
  • A great eye for composition.
  • Exceptional knowledge of lighting (flash and constant).
  • Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite; including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro.
  • Expert in using Capture One and shooting tethered.
  • Photography: Strong skills in food photography, portrait and event photography; both in studio and on location.
  • Editing: Ability to produce content from concept to the final product; including all post-production work and video editing. You have experience working as a one-person crew most of the time.
  • Video: Strong skills in camera operating, lighting, sound, directing subjects, working as a one-person crew, shooting in studio and on-location. Assisting clients with script preparation. Some voice-over recording.
  • Expert knowledge of Media Asset Management.

  • After Effects / Motion Retouch
  • Color Grading / DaVinci Resolve
  • Sound Editing / Adobe Audition
