Arnprior Heritage is looking for a full-time Assistant Supervisor who brings positivity, professionalism, and genuine care to our team. If you're someone who enjoys supporting educators, strengthening communication with families, and helping to create a great workplace vibe, we would love to meet you.We believe the Assistant Supervisor plays a key role in keeping the centre running smoothly and ensuring educators feel valued and supported.

In this role, you will work closely with the Supervisor and leadership team. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Supporting Educators

Checking in with staff, offering guidance, and helping with challenges Supporting classroom flow, transitions, and routines Helping new educators get settled and confident Encouraging teamwork and positive communication

Building Strong Family Relationships

Assisting with daily communication to families Answering questions with professionalism and warmth Ensuring messages to parents are clear and consistent

Operational Responsibilities

Helping with schedules, ratios, and staffing adjustments Assisting with documentation, incident reports, and licensing standards Ensuring policies and procedures are followed Supporting daily program quality and smooth centre operations
We are looking for someone who is:

A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure Able to multitask and stay organized Comfortable guiding and supporting staff A strong communicator who builds trust easily Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Confident working in inclusive environments and supporting diverse needs
Leadership or mentoring experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong leadership potential.

Pay: From $27.50 per hour
