As the Assistant Staging Consultant for Mainstay Services, you will be part of a fast-moving team which transforms homes into remarkable living spaces for the purposes of helping real estate agents sell the home more quickly and at higher prices. This is a role which requires a strong degree of comfort with autonomy and independence. The candidate should possess very strong communication, sales and organizational skills as they will oversee company operations and business development. Candidates should have a key eye for design, a growth mindset and eagerness to help. Mainstay\xe2\x80\x99s goal is to be the hero to the clients they serve, the realtor and their clients, by providing excellent, responsive service unmatched in St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, NL. Your role will include the following: Sales & Marketing
  • Plan for and create content for social media presence, including daily social media posts (Instagram, Facebook & TikTok).
  • Participate in \xe2\x80\x9clunch and learn\xe2\x80\x9d sessions at prospective Real Estate brokerages to provide education and sale material to prospective clients.
  • Reach out to prospective clients for sales opportunities (In person, Phone, E-mail & SMS)
Office
  • Maintain warehouse organization and inventory management.
  • Sourcing/shopping for additional staging and d\xc3\xa9cor items as needed.
  • Strong skills in MS office or similar (Google Suite).
  • Light cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
Real Estate Staging
  • Conduct Staging Consultations (walkthroughs) of prospect homes with the homeowner to provide room-by-room expert knowledge to ensure the home is Real Estate ready and ready for the listing process.
  • Develop, with the team, an on the spot staging plan to increase the perceived value of the home. The plan may include some or all of: furniture, lighting, art, accessories, window treatments, rugs, linens, painting, cleaning, repairs, and renovations, depending on the time available prior to going to market.
  • Communicate the staging requirements/plan back to the office so a staging proposal can be developed and sent to the prospect within 24 hours of the walkthrough.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents and homeowners to understand their vision and preferences for the staging services.
  • Once the staging is confirmed, tag the required furnishings in the warehouse to reserve them for the staging.
  • Organize staging inventory for loading on the truck. Assist in loading, as required.
  • With the team, deliver furnishings to staging property. Assist in unloading of truck, as required.
  • Stage the home as per the plan on the staging day - Follow the directive of the lead staging consultant to execute the staging design and arrangement of furniture, art, and d\xc3\xa9cor. This includes lifting and moving furniture (up to 50lbs.)
  • Destaging of the home and returning items to inventory.
  • Light maintenance & cleaning activities such as sweeping and vacuuming.
