We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Interior Design Consultant. In this role, you'll take the lead on interior design projects for Kitchen/Cabinet Designs --bringing our clients' visions to life with beautiful, functional, and personalized spaces. This is an in-person position where we offer a collaborative environment where designers are supported with the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with customers to understand their design goals, preferences, and functional requirements.

Conduct on-site consultations, including taking detailed measurements to create the design.

Develop and present design concepts, and material selections tailored to each project.

Prepare and present detailed quotes using preferred vendors and pricing.

Place and track orders for all necessary materials to complete projects.

Use our internal software to manage the full project lifecycle, including:

o Creating estimates and sales invoices

o Accepting and processing payments

o Creating purchase orders

Qualifications:

Excellent space planning, color coordination, and design detailing skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

Basic mathematical and computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programs (training provided for our software)

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Grade 12 Diploma

Coursework in Interior Design or related field is considered an asset.

Knowledge of construction processes and building codes is considered an asset

Valid drivers license.

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
