We are seeking a relationship-oriented and professional

Assistant Property Manager

who holds a

BCFSA Property Management License

to support the management of a portfolio of residential rental and income-producing properties. This role plays a key part in the day-to-day management of the buildings, ensuring they operate efficiently and that our residents receive responsive, high-quality service every day. The Assistant Property Manager will be involved in all aspects of property operations, including move-ins, move-outs, and processing applications, as well as coordinating maintenance and capital projects, supporting leasing, budgeting, and tenant relations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Conduct regular site visits to ensure properties and suites are well-maintained and compliant with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and service contracts, ensuring work is completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Support all aspects of the tenant lifecycle, including marketing vacancies, showing suites, screening applicants, and preparing lease agreements. Manage tenant move-ins, move-outs, and inspections with accurate documentation and compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act. Communicate with tenants to resolve inquiries, service requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, both during and after business hours. Monitor rent payments and arrears while supporting the preparation and tracking of operating and capital budgets, variance analysis, and financial reports. Maintain accurate tenant files, insurance certificates, and property records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Collaborate with building operators, service contractors, and accounting teams to ensure smooth operations property operations. Build strong, respectful relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues through professional and responsive service.

QUALIFICATIONS



BCFSA Rental Property Management License (required).

1 - 3 years

of related experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administration. Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and related practices in BC. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or similar property management software is an asset. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with professionalism when handling sensitive issues. General understanding of accounting principles and comfort working with invoices, rent payments, and reporting.
