Applications to this position are restricted to current Academic Teaching Staff in the School of Dentistry.

This position is in-person and is located in Edmonton, Alberta at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy and Kaye Edmonton Clinic.

The School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time tenure track-faculty position in Oral Medicine at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The successful individual will be responsible for building and maintaining an active research program. There is an expectation for clinical and didactic teaching in Oral Medicine. Time allocation for private practice will be integrated into this appointment.

Applicants will have graduated from an accredited specialty program and have relevant postgraduate and clinical qualifications in the specialty of Oral Medicine or an equivalent level as specified by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC). Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD degree and teaching experience in the Oral Medicine graduate program. Applicants will have a record of, or potential for, scholarly contribution in the area of Oral Medicine, and evidence of ability to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate-level teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise graduate students and involve them in their program of research.
