The Role
As the Assistant Non-Resident Building Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of Ravenline Estates residential rental communities located in Victoria, BC. Supporting the operation team, Building Manager, you'll help ensure the properties are maintained to the highest standards and that tenant needs are met promptly and professionally.
What You'll Do
Your role will involve supporting all aspects of building operations, from tenant relations and maintenance coordination to administrative duties. You'll play a vital role in fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
:
Assist the Building Manager in delivering an exceptional tenant experience through
move-in/move-out coordination, maintenance work orders, posting notices, and
managing tenant communications and paperwork.
Promote tenant satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining
consistent communication.
Help ensure the property remains clean, well-maintained, and aligned with Devon's
high standards.
Monitor the physical condition of the building and common areas, completing minor
maintenance tasks and reporting larger issues to the Building or Property Manager.
Coordinate services and work with vendors and contractors, ensuring clear
communication and timely completion of projects.
Assist in rent collection and the safe deposit of payments and other receivables.
Perform various administrative tasks and support additional property operations as
needed.
Qualifications
:
Previous experience in building management, maintenance, real estate
leasing/sales, hospitality, or senior housing is preferred.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues
efficiently and professionally.
Hands-on knowledge of general maintenance and repair work (mechanical,
plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced
environment.
Sales and leasing experience is an asset.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
High level of integrity and reliability.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle at all times.
Ability to pass a criminal record check to the employer's satisfaction.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
