Non-Resident Building Manager
to oversee day-to-day building operations and help maintain the property's high standards of care and service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the tenant experience end-to-end, including leasing, move-ins/outs, inspections, and administration.
Enforce and ensure adherence to the
BC Residential Tenancy Act
.
Oversee and coordinate building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and vendor services.
Conduct routine property walks and safety inspections, maintaining Devon's standards for cleanliness and appearance.
Promote tenant satisfaction through prompt communication and service.
Prepare vacant suites for occupancy, including minor repairs or coordination of trades.
Collect and safely deposit rent and other tenant receivables.
Maintain accurate records and report to the Property Manager as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in building management, maintenance, hospitality, or seniors housing is an asset.
Strong general maintenance and repair abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and initiative.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during employment.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Completion of a satisfactory criminal record check is required.
