Job Description

Reporting to the Meat Manager, the Assistant Meat Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall operation of the Meat department. Responsibilities include managing sales, gross margin and other expense control, department standards, ordering and inventory control, customer service, administrative duties, and department production and merchandising.


Qualification: Candidates must possess a retail meat cutting certificate from a recognized institution or equivalent knowledge and experience and a minimum of one year of meat cutting experience. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a retail or similar environment.
