Travel Manitoba is a Crown Corporation responsible for stimulating innovative, sustainable tourism growth in Manitoba\xe2\x80\x99s $1.5 billion tourism industry. In partnership with the tourism industry, Travel Manitoba is responsible for tourism marketing, visitor information services, research and public information. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. Assistant, Marketing \xe2\x80\x93 Marketing Division Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, the Assistant, Marketing provides administrative support to the Marketing Division, including but not limited to, various projects dealing with consumers, media and partners. This position works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of marketing projects. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and schedules meetings and communications for the Vice President, Marketing.
  • Assists with the scheduling and deployment of Travel Manitoba\xe2\x80\x99s email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitors and measures earned media.
  • Assists in itinerary building and provides administrative support for travel trade / media trips and site visits.
  • Assists in administrative support to address regulatory requirements.
  • Provides social media support for local industry marketing events and conferences.
  • Tracks and monitors the Marketing team\xe2\x80\x99s partnership deliverables and ensures timely execution.
  • Provides support for proofreading marketing collateral.
  • Assists in organizing events and maintaining corporate lists.
  • Provides administrative support to other divisions related to Marketing project requirements.
  • Monitors and provides assistance with tracking expenditures against budgets.
  • Other related duties as required.

  • Knowledge of marketing is an asset
  • Knowledge of the tourism industry is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • MS Office Suite
  • Valid current Manitoba driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Must have the ability to travel within Manitoba
