Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in retail management. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing sales strategies, and maintaining store standards to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties



Assist in supervising daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and store cleanliness. Selling Snowboards, Boots, Bindings, Outerwear, all related Accessories, Clothing, Footwear, Skate and Surf products on the floor Support new hiring efforts by onboarding new team members. Oversee sales activities, including pricing strategies, sales management, and promotional campaigns. Manage cash handling to ensure accuracy Lead team management initiatives such as training & development programs Utilize POS systems for transactions and monitor cashiering activities to ensure efficiency. Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist with operational and organizational planning to meet business objectives. Ensure effective communication across team members and departments to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications



Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and pricing. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Experience in training & development and sales management preferred. Experience Snowboarding and using a diverse amount of equipment to be able to relay personal experience into sales A high level of Product Knowledge in Snowboards, Boots, Bindings, Outerwear, Goggles, Helmets, Gloves etc. Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong time management skills. Previous experience in merchandising and store management is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead teams with confidence while fostering a positive work environment. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
