Overview


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the store management in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

Duties



Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Supervise and train staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles. Manage inventory through effective merchandising, purchasing, and pricing strategies. Conduct regular audits of cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security. Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning to meet store objectives. Participate in recruiting efforts by conducting interviews and onboarding new employees. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and reporting purposes. Implement marketing strategies to enhance store visibility and attract customers. Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and communication among staff.

Skills



Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and pricing strategies. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Proficient in retail management practices including sales management, merchandising, and inventory control. Experience with payroll administration, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Leadership experience with a focus on training & development of team members. Familiarity with administrative tasks related to retail operations including budgeting and reporting. Pay: $27.85-$33.91 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
